Howl sent it out the other day and I’ve always been curious about cats. It was no bs just the facts and was a great listen. I listened to the whole thing without stopping.

Very informative info.  Interesting how Oregon has between 6-7000 cats, you can kill 2 per year and the season is year-round.  Here in Washington, one would think our numbers have to be similar and yet our season is limited to just 7 mos. and only one cat per person.

Thanks for posting this, Humptulips. Great podcast. That bio really knows how the real world of nature works. I was impressed that they discussed the disappearance of porcupines. Something I’ve been concerned with for 20 + years, but have never heard anyone mention before.
Good entertainment while I sit by the stove here in camp building wolf snares.

WA has about 2900 cougars according to the WDFW website! I bet it's closer to 5k...
I love you... I really do...

I agree with you. There has to be more state wide than WDFW says.

Well, they put together a special committee. Then rent a retreat for a long weekend, and have a couple guest speakers come in to help them clear their minds and find their inner selves. Order in a bunch of great food. Sit in the hot tubs for hours on end. Then just before they leave, everybody says a number and they round it to the lowest number picked!
