Where are the winter squid?
« on: Yesterday at 09:23:53 PM »
Squid noob here. I live in Kitsap county, fished the summer squid in Bremerton but I've been told the squid move around seasonally. Any pointers ?

It’s winding down.
Still a few from Redondo and south.
Good luck.

Bring a battery powered light and spare batteries with stand or a bungee set up to tie to side of dock and check out Brownsville... Or if you have the converter plug, and an extension cord they got power hook ups... Best spot being last table at the life ring before ramp to next dock...  Same at Illahee dock... Not the state park one... The other one by the residential housing with very limited parking... Waterman Pier was difficult for me cause I didn't have *censored* lights like this other guy... It's so high off the water so a very high wattage light is necessary... But I was rather successful when he was there... Mediocre with mine... I hung mine from the pier with some rope... Not Ideal... But sure picked the pace up... Seen a few people loose lights because they couldn't tie knots well... Bremeton Marina was amazing as well but I had a friend that lived there keyed access, residents and invited guests only... I really preferred living in Kitsap compared to Puyallup... So much more to do locally year round... Even the blacktail hunting was way better closer to home imo...
I love you... I really do...
