Laser sight/pointer
« on: February 24, 2026, 07:28:38 AM »
Anybody familiar with this? it was on a gun that I recently purchased.

There is no on off switch on the actual laser that was mounted to the underside of barrel and the other end of the coiled cord is a metal plate that was Velcro to the stock.
Was thinking it was some kind of pressure sensitive thing, but it doesn’t do anything when I touch the metal plate

First thing is replacing the battery then try it. It is a pressure sensitive switch

:yeah:  The metal plate should have a rubberized coating usually with a pressure pad underneath it.  Try replacing the battery but if it just a metal plate the pressure button might be gone so it wouldn't work.

Not even sure what sized batteries it takes, no identifying info on it. I found that 3  327's (i think) fit, but when i screw on the cap it turns it on and touching the metal plate has no effect. May be that it is missing the rubberized coating/switch  :dunno:

I would try and get a hold of Emmett "Doc" Brown and see if a new flux capacitor will help?

It may have several functions as well... I had one that mounted to a Mosberg pistol grip pump 12 gauge that was a light, strobe, green, red, and a red and green laser... Looked kinda like that... Mounted the pressure switch to the slide where my thumb was...
I love you... I really do...
