Chiwawa Archery Tag December 1st

Just wondering if any frequenters of this site got drawn for this tag? This is my second year in a row getting drawn and I could possibly use a contact to tag team deer. I'm quite skilled at spooking and bumping deer, so your chances for success would be high.

A good friend of mine has the same tag and may be interested in chatting with you. He has been over scouting last weekend I think but hasn't hunted the area before. If you email me I will forward your name and email address to him and you can talk. It is definitely easier to hunt in pairs and try the bump and spook to the other guy in a lot of situations where you can't sneak in on them we have found. Dress warm!  It's snowing over there now, and is supposed to be super cold this weekend.  Like highs in the 20's, lows in the single digits.  Should be quite a bit of snow by Saturday.  I was over there last weekend, and there was already 4-8" on top from the last couple weeks.  On the plus side, the fresh snow will cover up the old tracks and help give you an idea of what elevation the deer are currently at.

thats funny, 3 of my friens=ds also got drawn 3 years in a row. I think they will be hunting up potatoe creek

Snowing like crazy right now!  Hopefully you see some good deer!  I'd hunt down low... Most the deer winter in the Swakane and Entiat units but there's definately deer in the Chiwawa side...

I live in the Wenatchee area and it's snowing right now, hunting should be good. I'm praying for no fog for this Chiwawa hunt, it was mentally draining last week in the homeboy spots, saw some good bucks but it was tough going with the added element. Deer winter all year in the Chiwawa so I'm not worried about that.

I've never heard from anybody and I would still like to find somebody to partner up with, I have a good top to bottom hunt we could do if I found somebody that liked to do a little hiking.

Thanks for the help, I'm hooked up for Saturday, should be good.

Here are a few photos I took last week while my hunting partner and I were waiting in the fog for a big boy to stumble threw. We thought the whole world was fogged in so we stayed there for quite a while. We finally decided to hiked down this little draw about 100' and it completely opened up, a few more steps and we kicked a big 3x3 that was 150 yards below us the whole time, gotta love the fog.
