cost for hair on hide tanning for deer and elk?

Im hoping to get a deer and elk this year and am going to want to get both of the hides tanned with hair on hide but I was just wondering how much its going to set me back?

Not sure where you are located but Quilceda leather in marysville does all of mine, about $75.00 for a deer hide hair on and $16.00 per sqft for elk, figure about 300-380 for a elk hide... Good luck. hope you get 1 of each..
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

thats awesome I was thinking it was going to cost alot more. Im hoping to get some antlers this year but It is my first year for archery so we will see, Im not going to be too picky, If a big doe walks of opening day for deer shes going down, Im just wanting to give myself more time to get an elk.

I charge $150.00 for deer and $245.00 for elk hair on/off.

I charge $125 for Deer and $16 per sq ft on Elk.
