Help me decide Sig rangefinder questions.
« on: March 12, 2026, 07:26:50 AM »
Hey all, I want to upgrade my current Sig rangefinder to one where I can drop a point to OnX with.  I currently run Maven B.2 11x45 binoculars which I LOVE!  I'm leaning toward the kilo5k because of that however to those of you with the 10k rangefinder binoculars, how do you like the glass in comparison to really good binoculars glass?  I don't mind having binoculars and range finder separate but if the glass on the 10k is amazing I'm not totally opposed to ditching the Mavens and going to a 1 unit system.  Also, does anybody in the loop know if they're planning on replacing the 8K with something soon to bridge the gap between the 5K rangefinder and the 10K binoculars? Help!

I run sig 8k and zulu6 8x and 16x binos.  I have Leica Pro 32 RF binos and Swaro 12 x Pures I no longer use.

You can manually place a pin on OnX more accurately fwiw.

I would look at Eagle if getting new RF binos

Once you use 19oz Zulu binos you are hooked.

How old are your kids? Could be a few years before you get caught up on your kids sports! :chuckle:

You're not wrong.  I've got a senior and a freshman.  Both play club volleyball and youngest plays fastpitch.
