My new feeder
« on: Today at 07:00:13 AM »
I should draw a specific tag this year for archery deer in Oregon and I want to inventory the benchlegs :). I'll make a mineral run soon and follow up with placing the feeder I made for less than $65 a few weeks before hunt. It's a moultrie all in one kit and a new 15gal drum. Yard deer like it but It was funny the first time it went off, they hauled ass lol

Don't think it's legal in Oregon either.

I bought the same kit a few years ago.
I had the same experience, scared more deer than anything.
Then I put it out in the woods and a bear climbed the tree and ripped the handle off the bucket.
Then when it was on the ground, ripped the feeder off,to get corn out.

It just collects dust now, kinda a souvenir of when it was legal.
I did put flashing on the bottom and repair the bear damage, but never used it again.
