Morning Hike
« on: July 03, 2009, 03:21:30 PM »

Scenery

Berry Growth

Waterfall

Lake

Going back down the valley

Two Does - in a staring contest with me

Western Cascade Jungle

A bear was here

Maybe that same bear was here too

A bear laid this out of it's tailpipe this morning or yesterday...

Another one

Walking along the creek.

An avalanche came down this...

It turned these trees down like match sticks.

Can't believe the lakes are still iced up.  Glad you got out!

Very nice Ray, I'm jealous. Looks like Alpine lakes area, will be heading up that way this coming week.

Yeah that's Alpine Lakes. It felt good to stretch the legs. I am wondering if I can go out for another hike on Sunday...

Hopefully you'll be able to. Looks like it is going to stay nice all weekend. I am working all weekend so you'll have one less person to worry about bumping into  :)

Nice!  I can't wait to get out beyond the local jaunts.  Great pics!

Thank you. Low quality camera. Best I can do.

Yes, I was out by myself. It felt good to dip my toes into that lake and have no bugs in July. That's almost impossible - the no bugs in July part.

aahhh, I can smell the fresh air just by looking at the scenery (minus the bear scat)  I am one for a nice scat pic though. Thanks.
