Sam and Rosemary Pancotto's amazing Trophys!!!
« on: July 04, 2009, 09:57:06 PM »
This is a must see!!! An update I made on an amazing trophy room post. They are in their 80's now and have donated some yes some of the mounts to a museum. They estimated the value of the donation at 2.3 million!!! Go to the link. If you missed the trophy room scroll to the bottom of the thread. There is also a pic of their home!!! If you think about the logistics back in the day it truly is AMAZING what they accomplished.

Cool pictures overall, but looking at the picture at the very top of the page, just below the title "THE ACCURATERELOADING.COM AFRICAN HUNTING FORUM" of a guy with a really large water buffalo or cape buffalo or something is really ridiculous.  It is totally photoshopped, look at how huge his hands are compared to his heads and shoulders.  Look at how huge the gun is compared to his head.  I just hate it when people do that to their trophy pictures.  >:(

That photo was taken as a joke. It's NOT photoshoped. The owner of the site is behind the Buff and thats his hands. The guy you see is Walter. He shot the Buff.

Nice post slider.  Very impressive collection.  My favorite was that awesome slam of lifesize rams.  Each one of those rams is a toad!!!

Call me crazy, but that trophy room is overkill.  No pun intended.  I just don't care for the cluttered look. :dunno:
