2nd to the last was my favorite as you had more of the scene instead of just up in the sky.  Love th ecolor too.  Then the next one was the guy withthe red white and blue eyebrows towards the beginnning.

Oh and you'll have to look really close but you can see those trees in most of those shots, I tried not to shoot only sky but sometimes the blast wasn't bright enough to see the ground !!!

   So a rookie question...How does one go about taking pix like these? long exposure? What shutter speed? tripod? Thanks for the heads up...

I took these with an ISO of 100, wide angle and on manual mode (bulb) with a shutter release of 2-3 seconds on a tripod. Does that help ??
