Just wondering if there is any access to the green for someone with a gimpy leg? Would appreciate any advice on where to go and what some are using for bait. Thanks

good access at flaming geyser park. if i'm thinking of the right place you can park right next to the river.

Lot's of good access at Flaming Geyser. There's a nice hole right by the model airplane field. maybe 50 yds to the river.

You can use okies and yarn or spin-n-gloes with any of the normal colors (orange, chartreuse, pink) the elitist that fly fish the flaming geyser hole will be using a single egg fly.

does that mean i'm an elitist because i fly fish?
come on now...thats not fair.

BTW "elitist" fly fishermen won't use single egg flies. they will swing flies downstream and across.

There's pretty easy access at Kanasket-Palmer SP.  Never fished it myself but have seen people fishing.

i have caught lots of fish on the green with  different flies. most of them have been on hoppers.  this time of year the tubers are  out in masses. best to be at flaming geyser  right when the park opens. before the tubers get out there.

Only if you shoosh people who fish with 100 feet of you, lol.

I always get a kick out of fly fishermen that tie egg flys? Or Flys that look like ......corn meal trout food,

BTW, I have four fly rods, I just suck at it, lol

Get your fishing in now on the Green, by winter it won't be fishable possibly for over two years, or more with the amount of water expected over the dam.
