Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong (shooting from a rest)?

another real good way to see what your doing is if you go to a range with a buddy have him load in the cartridges for you (if a bolt action) and ever so often not put a cartridge in the chamber. you'll see real quick what your doing when you pull the trigger, pushing,flinching,jerking ext. with that empty chamber

the best thing would be to get someone else to load the rifle for you and have them throw an empty in randomly.
it's a good way to tell if you're flinching or whatever you might be doing wrong.
