Do you use a cable and lock on your cameras?
How about a bear security box?

I started using both. On my Moultries or Stealths I use both but on my Homebrew's I use a Python Cable lock.

I don't. Should though, read a lot of threads about cameras getting stolen by low life thieves.

One time I took a camera out and forgot to take the strap. I ended up taking my shoe lace out and using that. That's all I've used since.

if you look on ebay there is some nice well made security boxes for the popular trail cams on there and get a pathyon cable lock and you are set.

I got the moultrie d40 yesterday and my bear security box and the python lock.... I'm all set....
Few more questions for ya Trail Cam Pro's....
Do you use the flash for your cam or leave it off?
How do you attach the security box to the tree? just the lock hold it there? Or do you nail it?
Thanks guys
Puttin the cam out sat morning.....

My security box has a spot for small screws and also the camera strap can go thru it and around the tree. You don't have to lag it to the tree(some on here will whine if you do) but use small screws to position it then use the Python lock and you are good to go.
For me it's flash on as I would hate to miss a nightime shot or if you have a no flash cam its all good. try some apples, honey, mineral block to enhance your chances
