can I hunt bear with modern firearm even if I have a archery tag?

Any legal big game setup; archery, muzzle loader or MF. your friend is right.

It's confirmed.  You can use any legal big game weapon. No baiting or dogs. Check your regs as always.

this is my first year bow hunting so Im prob going to go after deer and elk with my bow but this is going to be my first year going after bear so Im going to go with modern firearm.
