pass...even knowing i haven't killed an animal with a bow yet...i wouldn't shoot.
i'm with wabonehunter and who ever else said the same similar thing. i don't want to end my season anymore with a buck like that...too much to enjoy being in the woods.

Who says shooting this buck on opening day ends your season? Shoot it, be the hero, put meat in camp, then focus your energy helping out your camp buddies fill their tags!   :dunno: :IBCOOL:

Someone has to shoot a deer on opening day, it may as well be you!

i've only had that happen once where i shot my deer early in the season, and let me tell its kinda nice having the pressure off :chuckle:, and you get to tag along with other guys still to help get them a buck. and if i had a bow tag id let a stick fly

I thought this post was a "sick trick question"!?? but I guess it isn't!!
So I just want to answer for everybody else out there!!!
If there is a single person who would pass up a buck like that, they are  :liar: and a fool!!!
lots of folks might "say" OH I'm too good for a lil oll deer like that...... :liar:

I have seen 10-15 bucks like him and a few bigger so far this year. He isn't anything special.

depends on alot of things, Hunting are. Private or public. everyones trophy is what they want it to be. not what everyone thinks it should be. im happy shooting a doe. not a trophy but meat. It makes me think its all for something. its a stepping stone. If you want to brag about the biggest antlers then fine. Im out for a good time and if something happens its AWESOME. My trophy is in the hunt.

Who ever is worried about ending their season early go ahead and shoot, then you can come help me pack out my bull! This year I'd wait.

Only way I'd pass is if there was a bigger one right next to him. If it is legal- shoot-em-dead :mgun: Can't  :cue: horns anyway.

If he was in my comfortable range, he's going for a ride in the back of the truck.  If I wouldn't pass on the last day, I don't pass on the first day.
