Dead deer.  The only legal deer I SOMETIMES pass on archery hunting in Washington are yearling bucks and antlerless.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Wider than his ears, I'd kill him.  My goal opening day is always to kill any buck bigger than one I have already taken.  I've killed a couple of muleys that were "OK", but both were lacking width.  If I were pickier I would probably kill bigger deer, but I like having meat in the freezer too.  Not willing to eat tag soup yet if I don't have to.  I am working on this moral deficiency though.... :chuckle:

For sure.  This will be my first year archery hunting for deer (second year of archery overall).  Plus, the archery elk bug bit me bad after last year so it would leave me more to focus on elk.
