New Stock Dog
« on: August 04, 2009, 09:38:27 PM »
Hey Guys,
If this little guy turns out to be anything like his brothers, he will be a AWESOME cattle dog!! I own a full brother to him that is now just shy of two years old and we take him over to my Uncles ranch every summer and fall to help with the stock. It just comes natural with my dog and we are hoping that this pup will be the same. We picked him up for our friends that live ove at Fruitland/Hunters. Their dog Charlie is getting pretty long in the tooth and they needed/wanted a new dog. These dogs are 1/2 Aussie and 1/2 border Collie. Purebred on both sides. My dog is the smartest most loyal dog that we have ever owned. And I've had a few in 53 years!! They named him "Kobe".

Cute pup.....

My brother has a border collie that is pregnent, with pure bred pups.
Both parets are working dogs.

I am not a BC fan but his dogs are a kick in the pants.

I'm not a BC fan either. But when you cross them with a purebred Aussie you get  a dog that is without compare. It's a fantastic cross breed.  ;)

I call it a "Healapeake"  :chuckle:
