After filling my archery tag with a whitetail, I spent a couple of days taking pictures of Mule deer bucks.

Nice pics! Looks like familiar country. I just got off of the phone with my buddy in Republic and they got over a foot of snow the past couple of days and the deer are everywhere. So are the cougars. I might have to make a trip over after the first of the year to do some cat extermination and shed hunting.

No, I didn't see anything huge. I didn't spend a lot of time looking either though. A buddy of mine got pictures of a few bucks that are a little bigger than the ones I saw, I will post them when he emails them to me.

I didn't see the caiber I am used to seeing. Missing the upper age class a bit over there. About 2 years and there ought to be some brutes.
