here's a 23-1/2 G4, doesn't look close to me????

im no good at scoring elk(or anything else from a photo for that matter) but i dont see 380 here, bucklucky what did your bull score? high 370's if i remember correctly? this bull doesnt even look close to yours let alone bigger than yours

What is the history of past stories your friend has told you.....is he usually accurate or full of it?   :dunno:
I've never met the guy.  I found the pic and information on a different forum.  The topic title was "Look at my bull".  Now I realize the bull had a double meaning. ;)

still if that bull scores better than yours buck then that picture really doesnt do it justice im not a believer

The bull is much better on one side than the other. But with very generous guesses on the tine length the best I can come up with on the larger side is around 164-168 the smaller side appears to be 8 to 10 inches smaller the third is at least 5 inches shorter on the short side. so if you say 166+156+42 inch spread you get 364. I think he took the larger measurement for each tine and doubled it and then used the base as the first scoring mass measurment to get to 380. I would like to have him score my bulls. :) :)

I just found this thread today, but I would have said 340s at the most.  Maybe pushed to 350 if that guy is huge.  It's a great bull though.

the main beam for the g6 is what i thought he was doing wrong.
