QAD, here is why....... it doesnt fall down when you left down, it stays up, also it has the guard to hold your arrow, its really the best of both worlds, a fall away with the protection of a WB.

What do you mean by WB? So the QAD ultra-Rest pro series would be the best one.

WB= whisker biscuit   it holds the arrow so ou can walk with it nocked, most fall ways do not so you have to hold it with the bow hand, the QAD has the guard that allows you to have it knocked and walk around.. yes the QAD ultra Pro is the way to go

I have had both rest on my bow in the last few months and I chose the QAD ultra pro HD. Both the Ripcord and the QAD have an arrow guard so you can turn the bow completely upside down and the arrow will stay on the rest. As stated the QAD is made to be shot in the the cocked postion always. The launcher arm doesn't move when you draw, the Ripcord does. The other cool feature about the QAD is that you can "let down" if you have to and the arrow will still be in the cocked postion, again the Ripcord does not. Another feature is the QAD has a built in "break" so the launcher arm cannot bounce back possible causing vane contact, again the Ripcord does not. The QAD also comes with pre cut felt that really makes the arrow quiet when drawing(kind of a pain to put on but has held up very good) Between the two rest, I just felt overall the QAD out shined the Ripcord in every way. I also tried out the Trophy Ridge drop slide and really liked this rest. I couldn't get the rest to work on my Mathews(vane contact issues) but it was the smoothest and quietest out of all three rest. It hold the arrow very well but is not a full containment rest. Beside that the only draw back on the drop slide is the price,at $189 it is a little on the steep side compared to the other two rest. Here is a link if you wanna check out the drop slide http://www.trophyridge.com/images/rests/drop-slide.jpg

Ripcord SUCKS! It cost me a Big 4x4 Mulie a year and a half ago. The fall away didn't fall away when I fired the shot.

I will never use one again.

They work really well holding your arrow quietly in place while you are in a tree stand or ground blind.  ;)

I use a WB and I don't have any clearance problems as long as I shoot cock vane up.

I have shot Blazer, Quick spins 4" and regular 4" vanes with no contact issues. Using the lower arrow holder. They recommend you shoot cock vane up on the QAD. It comes with two arrow holders. The valley on one is 1/8 higher. So if you have vane contact (mine came with the lower one already on the rest) you can switch to the higher one. DON"T put the fuzzy stuff on until you know which one you have to use. Their is only one fuzzy!!! And read the directions and watch the video first before putting on the rest. If you don't do it correctly you will hear a CRACK and rip off vanes when you shoot your bow. The CRACK is the fletchings knocking down the arrow holder. Believe me I know first hand!!!  :bash: :bash: :bash:.............................. :chuckle:

Spend the extra money and get the QAD pro because of the ease of adjustability.  the vertical and horizonal adjustments are way worth it.
