Any further information is strictly confidential, including the Chinese & Japanese factory names."

When released in August, Mueller is offering a "direct consumer discount sale" for those who are signed up on their website.  I've never owned (but, I've read great reviews) a Mueller scope before, but this might be the perfect scope for my Howa Axiom .223 "dog town" rifle.  I have NO affiliation with Mueller... I just wanted to give you guys and gals a head-up on a possible great deal.

I have the U/L (Ultra Light composite) stock on mine (ordered from Blackhawk when they were $160... I think that they had them mis-marked because the price shot up right after I got mine).  Although the set-up is running about 12 lbs, I really like the configuration of the stock (free-float, adjustable length of pull, etc).  I ordered the 24" heavy-barreled action from Jerry's Sports (thru my FFL dealer) for a little over $300.00 plus fee/shipping.  I was able to put it together (action and stock) for $525.00 delivered... not including the Swift Premier 4.5-14x44 MD that's mounted on it.

Nice.  I have an older 1500 with a heavy barrel. It shoots great. The most accurate rifle I have ever owned. It will out shoot my wife's or my dad's Remington 700s. We shot around 75 rounds one day of hand loads. Trying out different bullets, powder loads, etc. The next day I could hardly move my right arm. That is what got me looking at the Axiom stock.

I've been shooting a Mueller APV for a few years and it's a nice scope.  I saw the info on that scope the otherday on rimfire central, hope to pick one up for my 22lr BR gun and give it a try

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Awesome.  Got my shipping confirmation also.  Mine is going on heavy-barrelled Howa .223.  Please provide a range report once you've tested it out.

May get a second one for a future 7mm-08, 6.5 Creedmore or .308 bench-rest rifle.

Thanks
