The number for the Bighorn breech plug that accepts the #11 nipple or musket cap nipple is 900023.  Here's a picture.......

Why is everyone buying new breech plugs?  Do they go bad that often?  I am new to muzzleloading this year and just wondering if I need to buy more for my TC black diamond? :dunno:

I'm buying a few primarily to change out a couple .209 Wolverines I have.  The Bighorn and Wolverines are same gun...just different model...and barrel length.  By using the 900023 breech plug in the Wolverine, it makes it Washington legal.  Also want to have an extra one or two for the Bighorns that the son and I have, just in case.  Probably never need to replace one, but you never know.

Knight went out of buisness, so folks are stocking up on what ever they can get while still around.
