I usually just say a quick prayer, get photos, and then get to work.

kinda wierd, but I really enjoy it.   Nice firm congratulatory handshake with anyone who is with me.   Something satisfying about sharing those moments with a partner.

After the shot I replay what happened about 50 times waiting for the 30 minute time to pass.  I look for my arow and follw the trail.  WHen I find it I give thanks to the lord for allowing me to harvest the animal.  Then its pics, high gives, and getting to work.

Praying it is not to far from the truck while thanking the good lord above , pic's, taking a bite of the liver , high fives, getting to the work ahead then  :party1: back at camp. After all that it's chief cook, coffee maker and pack mule for the rest of the hunt for everyone else.

I usually get up along side him, give him a good pat, tell him "Good work". They do usually make me work hard for them. Be thankful and appreciative, I did just take a life to keep mine going. Get some pictures. Then start working.
