Henry lever guns
« on: July 15, 2009, 12:01:42 PM »
I ran across a deal to pick up a little .22 lever gun for cheap. Anyone have experience with the Henry .22lr guns?

I have shot the one my nephew owns.  It is a great little gun that is accurate.  If you found a deal, snag it.

A friend of mine has a son that bought one last year. He is real proud of it. I've shot it a few times, it's accurate.

Thanks guys,

Thats good to know, I just may pick it up. It's a handsome gun, which is also modestly priced; a combo that usually makes me suspicious  :chuckle:

I've been eyeing one at a local store myself.  Action seems very smooth and most people seem to have good things to say about them.  I'd say buy if the price is right.

I have the standard model, it's tight smooth and accurate. The golden boy is a sweet unit! I'd buy it if the right deal presented.

I admit the odds of me buying it are low. I would have to land a pretty sweet job in the next couple weeks before I would do it.

More than anything, I've been admiring this piece for a while and wanted to know what you guys thought about it.

If you can in any way swing it, buy the gun.  If the price is right you can sell it down the road or use it for trading material..  If the price is right, don't let it get away.
