I appreciated his book as well, and have just started to build a skinning pole that I believe I saw in his book (IIRC). His legacy lives on.

Hi Rick and fellows, Im sorry to hear about Phil, didnt know this till just today, I met him at a show in the late 90,s and he autographed his book for me. I just had it out on my desk the last couple days thumbing thru it after not even looking at it for years.
He was very nice and very helpful when I met him.

Mark.
