you mean flintlock, big bushy beard, coonskin cap, and buckskins head to toe, right?  Not me but I know the type.  Love that stuff but I'm an archery freak so I just haven't gone there...yet.

used to be into it pretty heavy, job demands put me out of it about 15yrs ago.  One time I shot on the MN pole cutting team at the MLRA Rendezvous with my 58 cal Hawken, the 58 takes big chunks out of a log.  I still have a 45 flint Half stock Mountian rifle, 54 flint full stock Southern Mountian rifle, 58 percussion Hawken, and a Beretta 300yr Anniversary Model 12ga O/U percussion shotgun that I hunt with.  Still have my hand made Leathers, moccasins and camping gear.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

Only in style of firearms. Now that I can carry a modern handgun, I may do that instead of packin' a cap-n-ball revolver. But then again maybe not.

Going to try to find the skins.  Not sure if the wife will sew em for me :dunno: :chuckle:  I will be trying for one with a .54 round ball this year.

I did it for fun years back.  My dad is an old school traditionalist.  Coon skin cap and full leathers.  I would be afraid to wear them these days.  That buck skin color might get you shot.
Cut em!

I hunted Muzzy with a home built sidelock for 8 yrs, then the crowd got too big and I switched to archeryin the early 90's . I'll be going Muzzy this year for deer because I drew the Multi-season and the Alta B tag. Should be a decent hunt if the Wolves do kill them all off
