He,s big. If the ears look to small for his head it,s usually a nice size bear. :hunter:
It's better to have a gun and not need it than to need one and not have it.                                                                             Local 66 sheetmetal workers

It's a nice size bear.  Wish he was standing up so as to give a better idea on weight.  I would say around 175lbs - 200lbs.

I think it will still go between those weights.  The ears don't look all that small compared to the head.  I say the skull will go around 17" - 17 1/2".

You can see how thick the hair is on that Bears neck is.  In the first pic when the bears is looking at the camera I believe the hair on the neck is making the head look bigger than it actually is.

Big enough for me to. But you can see how thick the area is. I do not see it possible to hunt even if I could.

There might be some patch in there thats open for a shot...

or a stump you can hop up on...

then call for them, would be my suggestion. Maybe work the outskirts of the heavy brush...hard to say without being there.

Got a 12 ga.?  How about a .44 mag.?  either one at the ranges in that brush would be lethal.

Very nice bear, I would shoot him in an heart beat for my first bear.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
