i have my grandfathers Great western arms revolver that he bought and took to Korea with him, I had his remington 510 target master he got as a birthday present when he was 12, but someone decided they needed more than me
.
i just got a savage 99 in 300 savage that had the original owners reciept underneath the buttplate. i have taken it to the range and it shoots surpriseling well for a 60 year old rifle , getting 1 1/4" groups with the old weaver scope on it.

I have grand dad's Parker Brothers Dumascus Barreled BP 10ga side by side. Circa 1906. It is better than field grade with vent ribs and full engraving. There's a piece of the butt plate missing, otherwise is fully functional with correct ammo.
I have dad's Colt 1911 'Service Model' ACE. Fully functional .22rimfire. Circa 1931 (? Can't remember) This gun does not have armory stampings, so we believe it to have been issued to an officer of that era. A good friend of dad's gave it to him as a gift. (I need more friends like dad had!)
I have dreams of having Turnbull Enterprises restoring it some day.

I still have the first gun i was ever given, a Daisy Red ryder bbgun, given to me when i was 6, still have the original leather piece that goes on the saddle ring (it got in the way so i took it off), had the original box until my divorce (she threw all my gun boxes away), i cant remember how many kids i have taught to shoot and handle firearms safely with this gun. I even still take it out back and shoot it from time to time..
I'll post some pics later, and maybe a few other guns..
ps: I still have both of my eyes..

I have a Siamese Mauser .45-70... one of two that my dad (a retired Navy Gunner's Mate) built in the 70s. It's a hammer and can be loaded close to .458 Win Mag ballistics. He still has the other one.

I don't know how to post picture.
I still have the first gun in my life at 6 years old my dad bought for me a Stevens single shot 410.
I have had it now for 63 years. He bought it in a hock shop in 1946 for $10.00 and then paid a gunsmith $10.00 to recut the chamber for 3" shells it was only for 2.5" shells. I had it nickel plated in 1960.
it still has the orginal very beautiful walnut stock on it.

Winchester 1897 12 gauge pump shotgun. My dad gave it to me, says it was my grandfather's. I checked the serial numbers and it was produced in 1899. The year before my grandfather was born, so maybe his father's? Might take it to Cabela's and see what they have to say about it. Didn't say I wanted to sell it.

I love those old winny shotguns. I'm gonna try to find one this winter. I used to hunt with an old codger that had one and I fell in love with it.
