New rifle is finally ready
« on: July 18, 2009, 06:01:52 PM »
Bought this little honey back in Feb-march but since my work season had started I didn't have any time to scope it or shoot it. Today I mounted the scope, a 4.5X14 Nikon. Next weekend I hope to load up a few rounds and see how it shoots. I love this rifle, the trigger has no creep, It's light, and it has a 24" fluted tube. I really can't wait to see how it performs. This will be my Deer rifle but it'll be going to WY with me this fall in search of an antelope. WOOHOO!!   :IBCOOL:

Hope you like. It's a Remington 700 CDL Limited Edition. it's the 08 run. 09 is the 257 Roberts.

Very Nice. The CDL is a rifle I would buy if I was in the market. Handsome weapon, that.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.
