I was in Kittitas county. I really like the area beause of the moisture, wich means more berries and alot more brush for the deer to eat.

I saw a nice buck dead on Blewett Pass on wed road kill I would have picked him up If I had known how long he was laying there. Road kill soup.

That was only half the herd, when we bumped them (funny story) they all split up. Those seven came back together but the rest all went different directions and we never saw them again. I have been hunting in here for about 5 years and have never seen them herd up like this. I am not sure but I am thinking because of the over abundant food, from a long winter and mild spring, they are hanging together. The berry bushes at ~6,000 feet are unreal this year also. We went lower later in the day and arond 3,500 the berries are almost completly ripe also.

I saw that same buck YAK.  He's a 3x3.  I stopped and took a picture of him.  I'll try and post it later once my camera charges back up.  I thought about returning and taking his skull cap but not sure if it's legal or not.

Nice bachelor herd.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
