Rimrock scouting 7-11
« on: July 20, 2009, 08:28:41 AM »
Went up late friday night, slept, and got up about 5:45 to hit the trail by 6:30. Here are some pictures of what I saw.

Smoke from the fire

Views from the hike

While driving and checking out some other areas

Found this niiice rub

And a couple decent bucks

Sorry this is so picture heavy.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

entered the goat rocks trail at the end of rd 1207 and hiked up that trail and went up passed lutz lake and then down to the mccall basin trail. then ended at those pictures with the meadows and river. just tootled around there and headed back down to explore some more areas.

You are in the right areas, I'll say that based on your photos and all the time I spent exploring that country.
