Great photos BobR. You know what I was thinking about doing Bob to bear proof the boxes. When you put the bondo on you could slide several 10 penny nails in the bondo. Make the thing look like a porky pine with his quills sticking out.

I like the idea for the bear box. I might add that to some of my ideas for camera boxes with locks to keep the thieves from getting to them maybe some razor blades around and only a key with an extension will get to it.
Great picks and I love that color with the white chest.

The top and bottom piece of wood has a small V cut on back so the box cradles the tree. When the cargo strap is cinched down, the box will not move. You probably don't even need the screws.
