Ferry County Velvet Mulies

Finally put my new 400 2.8 lens to good use on Sunday. I can already tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with it.

Actually packing that thing around isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Right now I'm just using a monopod to hold the weight when I'm shooting. I just switch hands a lot if when carrying it when I'm into game, and if I've got a long hike into an area, I stow the camera still attached to the lens, in my Badlands 4500. It fits in there real nice.

I'll have to see what badlands I am using.  Mine is jsut a tad bit short for it.  Still owrks but its a snug closure.  I can't wait to see what you got.

Hey Timber -  Not sure what I am more jealous of...

#1   That you know where the big bucks are at

       #2   or that 400 2.8
