a monster from back east
« on: December 04, 2007, 12:50:49 PM »
got these pics in an e-mail from my dad...a western new york state slammer buck...not from washington, but a giant none the less. he's got 14 points and is the new pending state record typical.

wow nice buck had no idea they had bucks like that there. Had I known our trip to NY would have been done during hunting season and My wife could have been the one walking all over Manhattan. sorry to anyone from NY but I'm not a city boy and hated it. But now I may just have to consider another trip.

there's a whole lot more to NY than new york city.
it's a great state once you get out of the sewer they call new york city.
this buck was taken out in the western partof the state a bit south of buffalo in farm country.
p.s. no offense taken.

What a freak of a buck! I would be scared for like five seconds if I ran into something like that in the woods! :o Cool buck for sure.

Probably one of the most impressive Whitetails I've ever seen.  Those eyeguards are freaky.  Wonder how many smaller bucks he hurt or killed with those things.

That is one toad of a buck for sure.  Guessing a score on that buck would only unfortunately insult the buck and the amount of antler he has grown.  Scoring under the B&C scoring system for that buck would lead to a huge amount of deductions and my bet is he would not qualify for the B&C record book, and that is unfortunate.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
