you can definitely put a timney, SSS or riflebasix trigger in one, or do a trigger job to one. not sure the accutrigger would fit...
slenk?? where are you??

Just curious.... why would you want to do that, as opposed to just one of the better after market triggers as Jack mentioned?  Are they readily "available to purchase for that kind of thing?

" We currently have a supply of our old-style (pre-AccuTrigger) Competition Triggers available.  These are ideal for those with a Stevens 200 or an older pre-AccuTrigger model Savage"

this is From SSS and they kinda make it sound like a stevens is non accutrigger. doesnt really break my heart or anything.

a stevens is definitely a non-accutrigger.

ive always wanted to trick out a project rifle. got me all excited now.  :P

i thought the accutrigger was neat but not quite necessary. also thought it might improve my shots. i think that practicing with a bow all summer helped me gain a steady-er hand.

Anytime you can add strength or muscle you will be steadier.  Cardio for breath and heartbeat control goes a long way too.

See I told you , you would be ale to help others out with the knowledge you learned.
The only way you can get a accutrigger Is to buy a Savage with one already on . Thats why I have been buying Stevens and doing a trigger job myself.
Savage accutrigger why would you want one?
