McDaniels Lake???

Hey my buddy and I are really bored and we are thinkin about going up to McDaniels Lake. I know its just a planter lake but we just want to get out and do something. Has anyone fished it recently?

Haven't fished it since the first part of June, but I know the water level really drops mid to late summer. Weeds could a nuisance.

Well the lake is tiny and full of weeds...And all of the green grass around the lake is infested with snakes . I caught a 6 incher on Rattlesnake creek and hooked a big one there too. But I slack lined him and he got away.
