I think Bearmanric was offering some calling classes.  Give him a PM and see if that would work for you.  He will be able to show how to call and how and where to setup.

I would be interested in taking that class!

I would also be happy to meet and do a hunt down here on the coast after the opener. Any takers let me know. Mark

If you want we can even hunt over your way south of Cle Elum.  I've seen some nice bears in a few areas over there and took a small bear bowhunting over there one elk season.  If we have a cool front move through during Aug, I like going over there at least once
We saw 6 bear up there last elk season, 3 of them were Cinnamon phase, If you know where gooseberry/Gnat flat is.....There also was a lot of sign up S.Fork Meadows (Taneum) trail....I am hunting West-side this year so if you want them........

I'll be camped at Buck Meadows, straight south of Cle Elum, from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning.  I will be in a white older Ford F250, with an overhead camper on it.  Looks like the highs will be in the mid 50s, that should have the bears feeling pretty frisky after this past heat wave.  I'll be calling a few times Sat and a time or two Sunday morning before I head out.  If your able and want to have some fun, stop on in and I'll be happy to try and call one in for you.

Ric, I'll be putting one of your calls through it's paces this weekend, I'm giddy, can't wait!!!

Rasbo, that's the sad part...I'm not even an old man, I've just let myself get to that point.  I guess some folks need a wake up call.  I'm just glad mine wasn't when I was strapped to a hospital bed....well at least not yet.   :)
