Pics with the wife's B- day present,
« on: July 23, 2009, 11:02:05 PM »
Wife wanted a digital camera.  She is not very camera literate, so I knew she needed something that was easy to use and carry.  I wanted something that would get decent wildlife shots.  After doing a lot of research I picked the Olympus SP-565 UZ.  It is a P&S super zoom.  And yes Pope, it shoots RAW.  :chuckle:

This doe was 30 yards away.  Since I was just playing with it, these were shot as JPEG only.
First pic is at full wide angle, 28mm

2nd pic is at 20x optical zoom

3rd pic is at 20x optical with 5x digital zoom.

now I have to go wrap it and give it to the wife,  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I really thought about it, but decided she can have it, but I will be taking it to the woods with me when I go.   :chuckle:

She just wanted a nice camera for family pics and stuff, so I figured I would kill 2 birds with one camera.
