I am looking for a spot to do some seaduck hunting once I get my permit. Somewhere around Kitsap or on the other side of the Hood Canal Bridge. Any help would be great.

oh yeah... good places down that way for American (black) scoters and harlequin also.  I will let you in on a little secret... look for shallower areas like 10-50 ft where there are lots of shellfish like mussels, clams etc.  I would say mainly stick to the west side of hood canal.  Good luck hunting bud and welcome to the site.

Thanks for the info guys. Just waiting for the permit and my scoter & lontail decoys to show up.  Anymore advice would be great. Keep an eye for an otter duck boat when you come blast by in your big boat.
