Pigeons???
« on: August 02, 2009, 11:05:36 AM »
How many Band-Tailed pigeon shooters are there.  Went hiking looking for bear and there was a huge flock of wild pigeons.  Probably 40 plus in the berries.  I think it opens up on Sept. 15th.

Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I like hunting bandtails but haven't in probably about 20 years.   :o

Been seeing quite a few the last couple years. I've thought about trying it but just don't have the time right now. I've noticed anytime you can find clearcuts with lots of elderberries there will be pigeons around.
