Missing horizontally

Sometimes when I shoot a number of arrows I notice they all hit at the correct height for the bullseye but they are lined up to the left and to the right.  What sort of a shooting error might cause this to happen?

That, or an inconsistent grip causing torque.  Wind possibly, also.  Try shooting with a white cotton glove on your bow hand and as relaxed grip as you can manage without feeling like you'll be dropping the bow.  Jerking the trigger of the release is another cause; practice a slow squeeze and let the bow go off wherever the pin happens to be, and you'll find that your mind automatically centers the pin without you punching the trigger.  Inconsistent anchor point is another option to consider; just the pressure of the nose or cheek against the string changing will cause left/right shots.

Could be that you need to walk back tune and get your center shot correct..  If at say 30 your centered bu at 40 or 50 you notice that your shooting left, then that is an indication u might need to walk back tune.

and your draw lenght is wrong...walk back is one of the best ways to tune you bow but you are shooting bolth left and right...to do the walk back shoot 3yards and 60yards shoot 3 yards with your 60 yard pin move your sight to hit in the center,,,and I mean the center ...then go to 60 yards and shoot ...if you hit to the left move your rest to the right and start all over at 3 yards move sight and then shoot 60 ..you can also do this at 4yards and 40 yards at 4 yards aim with your 40 yard pin.

You can also stretch a piece a paper vertically and "paper your" arrow at 5 yards to see if it is tracking true.  This would be another good indication if your knocking point is off or your arrow rest needs to be alligned.

You may be pulling your bow arm left or pushing it right at the release. This is very noticable when shooting way out there. I notice myself doing this when I shoot 100 yards. It takes just a fraction of movement to pull or push the arrows left or right up down. Make sure you are following through with your shots keep your bow arm set all the way till the arrow hits the target.

Turns out that was the problem all along.  I had been consistent for so long and then my anchor point started to wander and the horizontal misses were the result.  I was able to confirm that fact after a significant amount of testing.  Thanks for the tip.

If you go to AT and search for bowtech riser flex.....    issues a lot of people including staff shooters have been having....  Ok Matt I will shut up now....
