McCormick Marinades!!!
« on: July 29, 2009, 09:52:39 AM »
While grocery shopping with the wife the other night i found myself looking at a wall of McCormick spices and marinade packets. I picked out a few of them and thought that i would give them a try. I was in a hurry to make some dinner the other night and i had a few packs of venison already thawed out. I decided now would be a good time to try one of the marinades. I used the peppercorn garlic marinade and about three pounds of venison. End result was great!! I put them on the BBQ cooked them to a MED-RARE, anything else is burnt, and served them with pasta and corn on the cob. Not bad at all for a $1 marinade. Just thought i would share.

Anybody else use these?

The wife and I use them a lot, and love them. Can't really go wrong with any of the flavors.

Use them every once in a while. For a change of pace when I'm going to smoke ribs, I'll use their pork rub.

Just made some Moose rib steaks with the Peppercorn garlic marinade on Wednesday night.  Medium rare and oh so tasty.

We use them.  The peppercorn garlic is our favorite.

I did the same thing for a BBQ the end of last month, had them in the fridge for about a week soaking in the marinade. Talk about tender and good as hell, I used the cracked peppercorn and the spicey chipole pepper.
