Mount Rainier

I went up to Mount Rainier last weekend with the family.  I looked for wildlife but didn't find any.  So all you get are a few landscape photos.  Sorry.

I was there myself last Monday, but didn't really see anything in the way of wildlife except a nice 4x4 mulie.  But there wasn't really time to pursue him for a good image, as I was also there with the family.

Thanks Tom.  Neither did my daughter.  As I did that first photo to post here she asked me where that was.  I told her she was standing right next to me when I tookt he photo and she was surprised.  She said my picture looked better than the real thing.  I guess that's a compliment...

Your photography is so outstanding.  Have you ever considered trying to do something commercial with them?  Maybe write a book on sheep with your pictures or something.

Very nice pics there pope.  Maybe you should sell them or teach a class on photography.....  we buy the beer, wine, etc... you teach the class over a weekend trip in the mountains???

Thanks River.  I am a much better trial attorney than photographer although I like to do it as my hobby. 

I am not into selling my images.  I have thought about creating a book with tons of great sheep photos.  You have only seen the tip of the iceberg on what i have with sheep.  I could do one of the online books and give great photos of sheep.  If I did it I would give one to my family and offer it to a few people on a select basis.  I'll probably offer it someday to many of my friends on here that are interested.  I don't think I'm ready to do this just yet but in the next 5 years it may happen.  I mostly want to do it to share with my friends and create a fun coffee table book for when people come to my house.  I have heard you can do great books for about 15-20 dollars each.

Huntbear, I'm always willing to help those that want to go shooting with me.  A few have taken advantage of it.  I don't know who you are or if you are serious until you start PM or calling me and setting something up.  You had me when you mentioned you would buy the beer...   

Looks like Tom here from the site and I will try and hook up for a few pictures this weekend.  I hope to learn a thing or two from him.

Well, I am going to get serious about it, just as soon as I get back to work.  It is something I have loved to do for a long time, but always never quite liked my shots.  And I always buy the beer for someone willing to teach me someting.
