The last 3 months I've dropped 25 lbs of winter fat for this hunt.I'm doing 8 mile training hikes with a 40 lb pack 3 times a week.The better condition your in I figure adds a lot to the quality of the hunt.So what are you doing?
runamuk,try a spinning class. That will get the heart rate going for a good hour.
Haugenna-My buddy and I do a nice little circut of climbs if you have a whole afternoon. Mount si, little si then hit tiger on the way back down. All three make quite a work out.Granite mountain off exit 47 is a lung buster too if you feel like going that far up the pass.
I also quit smoking over 4 months ago and quit drinking back in Feb.....
What pack will you be using for the High Hunt?I'll be using a Mystery Ranch NICE 6500.
