gmu 130 special permit.. help
« on: August 02, 2009, 05:11:10 PM »
Any ideas or information on public land hunting for whitetail in gmu 130, I drew a permit for antlerless muzzleloader deer. Of course not asking for any honey holes just would like to put some meat in the freezer, new to the site any help would be appreciated. I will do some investigating myself but any help to start would be great. Thanks.

never had hunted this unit before, thought it would be a good meat hunt. If you could lead me to a good place to start looking that would be great.

lots of farm in that unit. you'd do well to find a farmer that's angry about the growing population of haymunchers in the area.  ;)

Hey thanks, any areas to start looking for farmers?

Farmers tend to be found in some concentration around farms. Usually if you find a farm, you will find a farmer. So i would start there. Hope this helps. Welcome to my site.
