standing in our make shift blind today and the dog starting chewing up dried blackberry vines... i think he just wanted  a clear spot to sit, instead of getting poked when he stood up and tried to turn around.  :dunno:

When does it stop?  Mine discovered how to take corn off of the stalks in our garden and ate probably a hundred ears. Then she figured out that she could pull the stalks up and shred them, you should have seen our yard.  She recently discovered she likes potatoes as well luckily they are all dug now and stored for winter.  She just turned one year old some I'm hopeful the chewing will slow down soon.

I hear my 6 yr old son son saying "drop it"  "Let go" and I see my 6 month old lab with a knee high nylon stocking 1/2 way down his throat. My son finally grabs it and pulls it and comes out all wet and yucky it was 1/2 way in his stomach I'm sure.

I say "where's the other one?"

We found it on the living room floor about 6 hours later in a steaming pile that included the dogs dinner!!

Posted earlier on this but my wife reminded me of the entire, unchewed deer lung that she proceeded to return in the kitchen.       :puke:     I did manage to catch it in a pan lid to keep it off the floor.
