What kind of trout is this?

 Ive cought alot of bows, cutts, browns, ext.. But this fish had spots on its back like a Chinook. And some other little things that make me think its a hybrid or something. What do yall think.

A very rare endangered one that your not supposed to take out of the water.   :chuckle: :chuckle:  Brook or rainbow?

where'd you catch it?

i thought at first it was a chinook smolt too...but the more i look at it the more i think it's just a wild rainbow.

close ups are needed for me to say for sure.

Sure looks like a wild rainbow to me... Closeup would be nice and a better opinion

looks like a speckeld trout. They have the colors of a rainbow but not as noticeable and a lot more spots. A closeup shot would be better.

Rainbow, Eagle Lake strain if I was guessing from that pic - lots of big spots.  Close-up would be nice.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

If this helps it was I caught it flamming goerge, Utah... Every rainbow I cought that day looked totaly different.
