Its about that time Wapiti.   First (I mean earliest)hard antler bull I called in was on August 11th.  I wasn't out trying either as I assumed it was too early.  I stopped to take a leak and a bull bugled.  I thought what *censored* was that.  He's damn good, but def a *censored*.  Then he bugled again.  I thought holy crap and grabbed the Mrs and the bugle out and let it rip.  He came on the run.  Stopped right in front of us.  Funnier than hell.  It was like 85 out.

 :yike: Oh yeah baby that is what I like to hear! I am going up this weekend to take a look around. Been practicing on the calling but I will probably leave the Elk alone till just before it opens.
