My Knight big Horn

fired two shots at 25 to find out were the gun was shooting, first chance I've had to shoot it after buying it  1st two shots at 25 yds in the same hole 

thought I made a mistake so i moved the sight to the right of the bull and hit 1/4" to the right WOW

Moved it to 50 yds dead center maybe 3/4" high WOW !!!!!

Went to 95 yds close as i could get to a 100 yds were I was shooting fired 1st shot DEAD CENTER !!!!!!
went home cleaned and put it away I thought my Austin & Halleck was accurate but this knight is awesome or maybe it was just my skill 

I was shooting 95 grains of 777 and a remington #11 cap and a Hornady SST in 300 grains, needless to say I'm not changing anything !!!!!!!!!
I was also using a lead sled for a rest.

This is good info.  I'm about to shoot my Bighorn for the first time as well.  I was looking at the Hornady SST's as well and this is good news to hear.  Thanks for sharing.

Ive been looking into purchasing the big horn and I have only priced it at one store for $399. What are you all seeing the gun go for? Im talking about the plain jane base model the camo was $425

Wow!  Has the price really gone up that much?  I paid $369 for mine in 2006 and it's stainless with the camo thumb hole stock.  That was at Hooked On Toys in Wenatchee.

The bighorn is accurate but I think the shooter got skills.

I just bought another one for $200 spanking brand new stainless barrel in the box.
Anyone interested pm me and I'll give you the reference for mail order.

Yeah, its the plain jane one for 269.99 blued barrell and black stock with thumbhole ,vancouver only has 7 left.

The stainless is about 100.00 more.

Not many skills just a portable shooting bench and a lead sled rifle rest to hold the gun steady.
I'm not that steay anymore at 65.

At 50 yds, my Bighorn was level with the bullseye, and 3" left.  I could see my rear sight was not centered, and I did not have the correct screwdriver for it.

I just ordered the williams peep WGRS-legend to install on it.

I agree, it's a great rifle.   

I picked one up from Wholesale Sports in Federal Way yesterday.  The first shot was also dead center @ 25yards. Moved from there to 50, then 100 yards.  Best group at 100 yards was about 2"s with the stock sights.  That was with 245grain Powerbelt AeroTips and 110grains of Pyrodex.

I bought this to replace my CVA Kodiak that is not legal in Washington(had shot it in Colorado before I moved).  This is a much better rifle than the CVA.

I think the Knight Bighorn is hard to beat sure is sad they went out of business.
