Billyg, I have the other baker west tag. Looks like we won't be running into each other up there seeing how the game dept. split us up. Just wish they would have let me know where my area was alittle sooner. Spent some time up in your area, the black buttes scouting thinking that was where I would be hunting. You should have a great hunt, lots of goats. Best of luck.

Thanks Streak, I also feel the same as you about the way they did this. I also wish you all the luck and maybe when this is over we should sit down and have a beer or something!

Here are some pictures from High Camp Mt.Baker Goat area 4-4. This is what it's all about to me. Spending quality time with your Family! Tyler and I with Deming Glacier in the back ground.

My son and his friend Ian with Seward park in the back ground. We counted 25 Goats on that hillside. Look between the Boy's.

This photo was taken from the first place we started spotting from. There is a Billy in the rock out cropping.

We decided to put the sneak on him to find out how big he really was. This next picture was from about 100 yards.

I feel this Billy was watching us from the very beginning but we must not have disturbed him to much because he got up and started walking grazing toward our position.

Across the Middle Fork Nooksack from our position was about 25 Goats. Nannies and Kids and maybe two Billy's in the dirt next to the snow. This is near Seward Peak.

This is Railroad Grade. A one mile stretch of trail that I found myself fighting a case of vertigo on. I wish I had brought hiking poles for this.

I've never seen more Marmot in one area before. I think they like their picture taken!

As I begain to use the spotting scope, I heard a rumble and my scope started to shake. At first I thought the mountain had decided to wake up. I'm thinking I'm in big trouble if that happens. I soon realized that the glaciers them selves were making that thunder like sound followed by the ground shaking. The scenery was amazing!
